Each year, at the Annual Conference of the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers, a competition is held for the best technical paper from an Industrial and Systems engineering undergraduate program. The technical paper is typically a report of the accomplishments of the students senior design project, presented by a member of the student team who worked on the project. To be eligible to compete the team must first win the regional competition held at the Regional Annual IISE meeting.
