Industrial Engineering Senior Fayha Khan Earns Alpha Pi Mu Scholarship

Senior Fayha Khan received a 2020-21 Alpha Pi Mu Scholarship from Alpha Pi Mu, the Industrial Engineering Honor Society. Fayha is the outgoing president of the Rutgers Chapter of Alpha Pi Mu where she made it her mission to revive the honor society and create a platform that supports and promotes the ISE community.

In Fall of 2020, the APM Officers inducted the largest initiate class in several years and frequently held events for their members and greater engineering community to deep dive into Industrial Engineering. Fayha collaborated with her fellow officers to plan and run freshmen recruitment activities, especially as the virtual format added challenges in teaching them about the major.

As Fayha heads off to New York City to begin her master's degree this fall, she fondly reflects on her term as president where she was propelled into leadership and how her involvement was a highlight of her Rutgers experience. She looks forward to seeing how Alpha Pi Mu continues to thrive and build its presence on campus in the years to come.
