Farzad Yousefian and Randy Reagan join Rutgers Industrial and Systems Engineering Department

Farzad Yousefian and Randy Reagan have recently joined the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Rutgers.

Yousefian received his PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne in 2013 and is a 2020 recipient of the NSF CAREER Award. His research interest lies in advancing mathematical models and algorithms for distributed muti-agent optimization, stochastic optimization, hierarchical optimization, and computational game theory, with applications in machine learning, defense, and transportation systems.

Reagan received his PhD from NJIT in 2010. His research interests are in technology intensive new product design, new methods in project management, and the use of management science to optimize engineering management problems. He has more than 30 years of industry experience where he led teams that developed and launched over 500 new products including major award-winning products that have set the standard in the industry.
