Humanities/SS Electives
Rutgers School of Engineering requires students to complete 18 credits of humanities/social sciences (H/SS), including 14:540:343 Engineering Economics (3 credits) and 01:355:101 College Writing (3 credits) which are required humanities/social science courses.

At least 6 credits of the electives must be at the 200/300/400 level.
The complete list of over one thousand elective courses is published in Degree Navigator. The list of courses available for a each semester (fall/spring) is published in the Rutgers Schedule of classes under Core Code, SOE: Approved Humanities/Social Science Classes (SOEHS).
Consult with your advising dean if you have any questions about completing the H/SS requirements.
